Kia took us back 30 years in their recent 2017 Kia Sorento ad featuring retired NFL Raiders star Bo Jackson and the classic Tecmo Bowl. Tecmo Bowl started as an arcade game and a couple years later became available on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
Nintendo just re-released a mini version of their classic NES game console over the holiday season that included Tecmo Bowl and 29 other games built in it. The units sold out immediately and now more people are trying to get their hands on one.

Similarly to the ad, Bo Jackson’s character in Tecmo Bowl used to be so fast that he could run up and down the field before making a touchdown. So being in a Kia Sorento guarantees no man will touch him when making it down the field.
We worked with MJZ and costume designer Bic Owen to provide all of the 1980s-2000s football uniforms and gear for their entire campaign. This includes jerseys, pants, helmets, cleats, shoulder pads, neck rolls, football masks, forearm pads, bicep pads, wristbands, and headbands.
