The Grey Group envisioned and planned the “You Don’t Know AARP” campaign in order to revitalize the AARP’s image. To highlight the newer benefits of joining the AARP, Grey set off to create a series of videos ranging from how to use the latest technology to their work with their “Drive to End Hunger” foundation.
For this segment about AARP Travel, Grey hired MJZ to produce a commercial about the benefits of traveling with AARP, such as planning a cross-country stadium baseball trip.
In order to make this baseball trip really come to life, MJZ hired stylist Shoshana Rubin to figure out what was needed to make the baseball game feel as genuine as possible. In turn, Shoshana came to us, knowing that we create the most authentic sports wardrobe in the entertainment industry and are able to supply her with any sports and lifestyle wardrobe from the player to the coach to the fans.
For this specific spot, we started with blank baseball uniforms— jerseys, caps, pants, socks, and belts for both teams— and turned them into full-fledged outfits with custom lettering, numbering, and sewing for each jersey and cap. We also fashioned custom logos in-house for the Wildcats, as well as created mock-ups for the Mustangs logo.
For the Wildcats, we used twill for the logos, letters, and numbers.
