According to cancer.org, “about 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime”. Catching this disease early can make all the difference.
Dannon is partnered with the NFL for their “A Crucial Catch” campaign which goes on this October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For however many participating Dannon products sold this month, Dannon will contribute up to $500,000 to the American Cancer Society and promote breast cancer screenings.
This is the ad they created together.
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen, and New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson, have mothers who are breast cancer survivors. And both of these women want to stress the importance of breast cancer screenings.
During the month of October, all of the NFL teams and staff will wear pink accessories during the games to support the cause. Also, the NFL and each team will host Breast Cancer Awareness activities and donate money to the American Cancer Society or other Breast Cancer organizations.
We were happy to work with The Sweet Shop on this empowering spot. We provided all of the Carolina Panthers and New York Jets uniforms including Olsen and Wilkerson’s customized jerseys. Along with providing the football game necessities like the helmets, compression shirts, thigh pads, knee pads, socks, and cleats, we also provided the pink Breast Cancer Awareness accessories. These include the pink QB towel, pink mouthguards, pink NFL gloves, pink pre-wrap, pink athletic tape, and pink eye black stickers.
