Former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie appeared on Season 22 of abc’s Dancing With the Stars. Although he and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, did not win, they put up a good fight all the way up to episode 6.
In the video below, the couple shouted out Flutie’s Alma Mater, Boston College, and asked for the support of alumni and current students throughout the season. They even represented Boston College by wearing the school’s colors.
Flutie has a strong connection to his Alma Mater because according to the Heisman Trophy Trust, “Flutie set the NCAA all-time passing yardage mark while winning Boston College’s first Heisman in 1984.”
We were happy to help Flutie and Smirnoff by providing the maroon and gold football jersey and cheerleading uniform the couple wore for their debut on Dancing With the Stars.
