In the past 20 years, there are very few developments that have changed our lives the way fantasy football has.
Sure, you could say that the advancements in cell phones, wi-fi, hybrid vehicles, HD-TVs, NFL Sunday Ticket and I-pads have had a significant impact on our lives. But we would ask you this question, hasn’t fantasy football made all of those things even better? (Note: this question is rhetorical)
For some, it’s the only reason they watch football. For others, it’s an obsessive habit that enhances their Sundays. For the uninitiated, it’s that weird thing their significant other spends hours on the computer doing. It’s the cause of seemingly nonsensical celebrations in the middle of games that don’t matter.
It’s the feeling of complete joy and utter disappointment over a few yards gained or lost. It’s decimals and statistics. It’s luck, odd pick-ups and wacky trades. It’s fantasy football and we love every second (or hate it, depending how our team is performing).
For this hilarious Dr. Pepper spot, we created custom uniforms for both teams, which were highlighted with custom patches and helmet decals to complete the authentic look.
Shot in the L.A. Coliseum, Sports Studio provided an on set wardrobe consultant for the two day shoot to ensure that everything looked just right. And we have to admit, this looks as good as your starting running back going for 100 yards and 3 touchdowns.
If you look closely, you will notice that the opposing team is wearing several Xenith helmets, which we placed in the commercial. Don’t forget to keep your eyes glued to the tube, as you will see more players than ever wearing the X2 on Sundays this season, racking up critical points for your fantasy team.
