2016 marks the fourth year in a row we’ve worked on MLB The Show, from game covers to commercials. We’re always excited to see what they’ll come up with at EA Sports, as well as what improvements they’ve made to the graphics from the year before.
While it may not be surprising that the graphics this year are better than in previous years, what may be surprising is how much better they are. The graphics are arguably so good, that from a distance it would be difficult to distinguish between a clip of the video game from an actual live game.
With two new types of gameplay in MLB’s Diamond Dynasty mode — Battle Royale and Conquest — this might just be the best MLB The Show yet.
We worked with EA Sports and Sony to provide the authentic MLB baseball uniforms seen in their latest TV spot, “Get Famous.” As a trusted entertainment partner of the MLB, we work to make sure all wardrobe and props on licensed jobs look as authentic as what the players wear on the field.
