In multiple ways this performance posits similarities to the original 1978 film: same songs, same outfits, same 50’s lingo. Yet, what makes this production stand out from its predecessor is how they approached the live aspect.
The camera follows actors off stage and behind the scenes, giving viewers access to the side of a show that is rarely seen, including last minute changes and additions. It truly demonstrates the crazy amount of work, talent, and dedication that needs to go into a successful live show.
We helped out by working with costume designer Nanrose Buchman to provide the Rydell High football and basketball uniforms. If you missed it the first time, the show will re-air on Sunday March 27th on Fox.
