It’s amazing how far baseball video games have come in the past 15 years. Originally, you were given an incredibly limited amount of function in gameplay, and the players looked cartoonish at best. Nowadays, not only has the scope of functionality increased, but the character detail has increased as well. From bats to shoes, and even accessories like cologne or socks, MLB 15 The Show is a huge improvement over its early predecessors.
MLB 15 The Show even has their own mini show on Playstation’s YouTube channel, “MLB 15 The Show.” For one of their recent episodes, MLB 15 The Show went to Spring Training, filming players Yasiel Puig, Eric Hosmer, Hunter Pence, Russell Martin, Andrew McCutchen, and Adam Jones playing MLB 15 and discussing the games features.
As the entertainment licensee of the MLB, we worked with production company Mutt Industries to source all of the players’ uniforms, batting practice jerseys, batting helmets, and even Puig’s cherry baseball bat.
