Optimus Prime plays futbol, and Transformers: Age of Extinction releases tomorrow.

Like Optimus Prime in goal, Paramount is betting that nothing will stop Michael Bay and his army of Autobots and Decepticons.

Many studios thought that the World Cup would have negative effects on box office revenue for summer blockbusters. However, Paramount was one of the few that took a chance at releasing Transformers, Age of Extinction right smack dab in the middle of the world’s most crazed sporting event. They were wise to utilize soccer into their ad campaigns to coincide with the World Cup.

Despite the success of the last four Transformers films, this may be a risky move. Yet with high risk comes high reward.

Sports Studio provided the soccer uniforms for this spot, including Diego Poyet’s. If you have any questions regarding sports wardrobe rentals within the Hollywood entertainment industry, don’t hesitate to give us a ring. We’d love to help in anyway we can.

Enjoy, as Optimus Prime squashes Diego Poyet, Patrick Otte and Gor Grigoyan.
