Nike released a series of commercials for the Rio 2016 Olympics all relating to the idea of being unlimited.
“Unlimited You” is about both ordinary and famous athletes going beyond their limits. The commercial shows us that we don’t have a maximum potential because we have no limits.
Just these past couple of weeks in the Rio Olympics, we witnessed Michael Phelps win his 23rd Olympic gold medal, Katie Ledecky set her 13th World Record, Simone Biles live up to being the best female gymnast in history, and Usain Bolt win the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay for the 3rd Olympics in a row. These athletes seem to have no limits.
Oscar Isaac did a great job narrating the entire commercial. Some famous athletes who made appearances were Neymar Jr., Kevin Durant, Serena Williams, Aaron Gordon, and English Gardner.
“Unlimited You” was directed by the Daniels that brought to us “Swiss Army Man”, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. We worked with PRETTYBIRD to provide the full women’s soccer uniforms, the full youth football uniforms, the referee uniforms, and the volleyball jerseys and shorts. We also customized the uniforms by adding numbers and lettering to the front and back of the jerseys.
