Apple unveiled Apple Music on June 8th with a press release, and a pretty incredible commercial introducing Beats 1 Radio, a 24/7 global radio station.
Aptly titled “Worldwide,” the commercial peers through the lens of individuals around the world. Listening to the premiere of Pharrell’s new song “Freedom” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show, each cut shows someone going through a different part of their day, all while experiencing this premiere at the same time. It’s a powerful and effective demonstration of Beats 1.
We worked with production company Iconoclast and ad agency TBWA\ Media Arts Lab to provide the boxing gloves, shorts and boots seen around the 0:46 second mark of the video.
